    Direct connection via the B1 (A 40) to the highways:

    If you are using a navigation device, please enter "Maurice-Vast-Straße" as the destination address. From the destination address, please follow the signs in the vicinity.


    Parking

    Parking lots A3, A4 and A8 are available directly at the Westfalenhallen. If these are full, you can also use parking lots C1/C2, D2, E1 and parking lot M (Mercedes). On Saturday and Sunday, parking lots E3 and D1 will also be open for you.


    Parking fees are a maximum of EUR 9.00 (prices subject to change) per car in all parking lots.

    For all those arriving in an electric car, we have 2 electric charging stations with a total of 4 charging options in the immediate vicinity.

    By public transport


    The U 45 subway line (direction Westfalenhallen) takes you comfortably from Dortmund Central Station to the "Westfalenhallen" stop in 10 minutes.


    From the Dortmund city center (subway stations Reinoldikirche or Stadtgarten), the U 46 (direction Westfalenhallen) will also take you to the "Westfalenhallen" stop in about 5 minutes.


    Alternatively, take the U 42 (direction Hombruch) to the stop "Theodor-Fliedner-Heim". From here it is only a few minutes' walk to the exhibition center.


    The route to the Westfalenhallen is signposted at the above stops. All of the stops listed above are handicapped accessible.

  • WIFI

    Messe Dortmund is pleased to be able to offer you access to the CityWLAN of the City of Dortmund, which is operated by the telecommunications provider DOKOM21.


    Of course, WiFi use is completely free of charge for visitors, exhibitors, organizers and all other persons on the exhibition grounds.


    Access to the WiFi is possible in just a few steps:

    - Switch on WiFi on the end device

    - Connect to the "Hotspot Westfalenhallen" WiFi network 

    - The Westfalenhallen Dortmund login screen opens

    - Alternatively: Open browser (Safari, Firefox etc.)

    - Call up any unencrypted page (e.g. www.web.de)

    - You will be taken to the login screen

    - Click on the "Free access" button

    - Accept the terms and conditions and conditions of use (check the box) and click on the "Log in" button.

    - Done.


  • ACCESSIBILITY

    Accessibility of the halls

    Our entire exhibition grounds are accessible for wheelchair users. Halls 4 to 8 are interconnected and at ground level. The upper halls (Westfalenhalle and Halls 1-3) and higher rooms in the Congress Centre can be reached by lifts. In all halls you will find sanitary rooms suitable for disabled persons, which are reserved for the exclusive use of visitors with physical disabilities via the Eurokey locking system.


    Wheelchair hire

    Wheelchairs can be hired from the porter at the North Entrance against payment of a deposit. (Please note: only a small number are available)


    Sanitary facilities

    Disabled toilets are located in the North Entrance, in the passage from Hall 4 to Hall 7, in the passage to Hall 3, in the Visitor Passage and in the West Entrance.


    Hard of hearing

    Our conference rooms London, Bruges, Bergen, Novgorod and Newsroom are equipped with an inductive hearing system.


    Guidance system

    Our signposting system is designed to meet the needs of people with visual and learning disabilities in terms of both contrast and intelligibility.


    Parking facilities

    Our parking spaces for people with disabilities on the exhibition grounds are kept free by the stewards and are therefore not directly signposted. In this way, we ensure that the parking spaces closest to the respective entrance are available to you, depending on the trade fair. Please inform the parking attendant of your need when you arrive. Severely disabled persons who have a blue additional parking permit will be directed by the stewards to a space near the entrance. Parking on our exhibition grounds is free of charge.


    By public transport

    The easiest way to reach us is to take the U45 subway from Dortmund Central Station to the "Westfalenhallen" stop. There you can use the lifts to get directly to our exhibition grounds.

    With the appropriate authorisation, you can use the DEW21 special transport service for the disabled. This service is available to citizens who are unable to travel by bus or train due to a disability.   • SHOPPING TOUR IN DORTMUND

    Westenhellweg

    Westenhellweg is the main shopping street in Dortmund. It is a pedestrian zone, so you can go on a shopping spree completely undisturbed by cars.


    Thier-Galerie (Westenhellweg 102-106)

    If you walk along Westenhellweg, you will come across Dortmund's modern shopping centre, the "Thier-Galerie". Built on the former site of the Thier brewery. 160 shops await visitors in a new and modern ambience.

    The "Qualitätsroute Dortmund" is an association of owner-managed shops in Dortmund. Discover the city and all its highlights away from the city centre.


    For all football fans: The BVB FanWelt (opposite Messe Dortmund, Strobelallee 41).

    The complete BVB fan article range is presented on two 600 square metres. Around 1000 different items are on offer.


    Opening hours: Monday - Saturday 10:00 - 18:00, on home match days until one hour after the end of the match. On Sunday match days from 10:00 am until one hour after the end of the match.
